Shipping & Returns
The Sweet Dark specializes in small batch, handcrafted body care products. Each batch is made fresh to order. Our goal is for you to feel all the love we put into everything we make.
All orders are shipped within three to five business days. Because we are an artisanal shop where a human is making handcrafted goodies, there are those rare times when shipping may be delayed by a day or two. Like we said this is rare but we certainly appreciate your understanding.
Shipping rates are calculated individually based on weight and distance.
At the moment, we only ship domestically.
It is our goal for every customer to feel satisfied with their purchase.
For questions regarding orders that have already shipped, please reference your tracking number. Once an order leaves our hands, it enters the domain of the mail carrier, and the order is no longer under our control. If you have concerns about late or lost packages, please email us—we like to be kept in the loop, but ultimately, delivery issues must be taken up and resolved with the carrier.
We are unable to cancel any orders that have already shipped. If we receive your request to cancel in advance of shipping, we will happily issue a refund.
Due the nature of our product, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please read the ingredients carefully. Know your allergies. Test a small patch of skin with a product and wait 24 hours. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.
We recognize that choosing skincare is a uniquely personal experience. However we are unable to resell opened merchandise and all returned product would need to be thrown away. As a small company, we can't accommodate returns without raising our prices.
If a product was faulty, please contact us within 15 days of your order date and we'll do our best to make sure you're happy. After 15 days, all sales are final.
If your product arrived damaged please send us photos of the items and we can arrange for replacements.
